Save The Seas, Protect Our Home
There’s no Planet B, just join the movement for a clean Planet!
The World Voluntary Coastal Cleanup movement lasts from 18 September to 31 October. On October 3rd, 2021, we gathered with the common goal of collecting and documenting the trash found in the coastline.
“Trash Free Seas – World Voluntary Coastal Clean-up”
More than 14 million people have taken part in the Global Voluntary Coastal Clean-up. As a result over 100,000 tonnes of waste have been collected. This is the largest voluntary event of its kind in the world. It is an initiative of Ocean Conservancy, while the Hellenic Association for the Protection of the Marine Environment – HELMEPA coordinates it for the 31st consecutive year in our country.
Aegean Shipping Management chooses to be part of this largest voluntary movement, contributing in keeping healthy the ecosystem. We care about our Planet and our future, we proudly renew our commitment to the Global Voluntary Coastal Clean-up.
Above all, as individuals we have the potential to make a big difference. By doing our part working toward a sustainable planet, we provide others with inspiration and a good example to follow.
Earth day should be every day. We should keep our seas and all the natural environment clean, not only during the Voluntary Coastal Clean-up period.
In conclusion, let’s all do our part and keep healthy the ecosystem. Protecting our Planet is important to every person’s survival.
