Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Christos Kechris joined our Company in 2014 as a CFO. He is a Certified Accountant and a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece since 2005. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Crete (2000), a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Economics and Finance, and an Executive MBA, both from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Mr. Kechris has accumulated over 20 years of professional experience, with a distinguished career spanning from 2001 to 2014 at two of the “Big Four” audit firms, PwC and Deloitte. At Deloitte, he attained the position of Senior Manager, where he led numerous high-profile projects, specializing in the development of efficient corporate structures, the implementation of robust internal audit procedures, particularly in shipping companies (both listed and private), and the delivery of comprehensive reporting and analysis.
Currently, Mr. Kechris serves as the Chief Executive Officer, where he leverages his extensive expertise in financial management, corporate governance, and strategic planning. Under his leadership, the company continues to strengthen its operational efficiency and financial performance, while fostering sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
On a personal note… Working in a high-tensed industry such as shipping, everyone needs some time to de-stress. Allocating some free time playing tennis within other commitments allows me to exercise and relax bouncing back the ball!!!
