Mr. Katavatis Ioannis holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He began his career in the shipping industry in 2016, starting with a role at a spare parts company. Following that, he contributed to a reconstruction project at Papilas Shipyard. He joined Aegean Shipping Management as an assistant superintendent, with the objective of fostering personal and professional growth while helping to advance the company’s goals. His key strengths include a strong sense of teamwork, a results-driven mindset, and a high level of integrity.
On a personal note…In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, which offers an enjoyable and dynamic way to maintain physical fitness while honing both individual and team-based skills. The fast pace of the game, combined with the need for strategic thinking, makes each match both engaging and rewarding.
